Take a glimpse at the Ruffed Grouse Society Camp Tour!
Camp Tour—Malone, New York takes a look at one of many Camp Tours. The non-profit conservation group for habitat funding, the Ruffed Grouse Society, hosts the Camp Tours. Grouse hunters from all over the Northeast converge on the little town of Malone, New York just outside the Canadian border to celebrate the ruffed grouse and American woodcock. These tours are designed to raise critical conservation funds for future and current habitat management. This includes research done by the Ruffed Grouse Society on both ruffed grouse and American woodcock.

This multi-video production celebrates those experiences we treasure in the grouse woods—stories and cherished memories that are essential to engage the next generation of grouse hunters and conservationists.” – RGS Director of Communications Matt Soberg

“Join us for the first Grouse Camp Tour, where RGS & AWS staff will celebrate habitat, membership and the grouse/woodcock hunting experience across three states from October 19 to 24 ending at the Annual Woodcock Celebration/Challenge in Michigan. Staff will candidly document and update the Tour in real-time on this page and on social media (FaceBook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr). Content will include featured habitat projects, interviews with biologists and dedicated members, grouse and woodcock hunting footage, featured gear/products, and more.” – Grouse Camp Tour 2015
