In this episode we discuss many topics surrounding Washington chukar hunting, tactics, tips and of course the dogs and gear that make it all fun.
This week we travel to Washington and visit with avid chukar hunter and all-around great guy, Phil Spencer. Phil is no stranger to challenging himself, or endurance sports, so it was only fitting that chukar hunting sucked him in and took hold.
From growing up in Duluth, Minnesota hunting ruffed grouse to discovering chukar once in the West. This episode is a journey through a love for the pursuit of the uplands and the challenge this bird has been come to be known for. Phil runs pointers across the chukar landscape of Washington state and has worked dogs in NAVHDA to American Field.
