The Fall 2026 issue of Project Upland Magazine finds us in the forests and fields in pursuit of the birds we love. The cover story, “It’s All in My Head,” by Dr. David Dahlgren of Utah State University, takes us through his powerful personal journey in game bird research.
A.J. DeRosa takes us through the history of another shotgun gauge, this time the most popular of all: the 20-gauge, from ballistic information to historical data.
