#44 | One Year Anniversary Podcast, The Future of Project Upland and More – Project Upland Podcast
Nick Larson is the host and creator of the Project…
On this episode of the Project Upland Podcast, I’m joined by A.J. DeRosa and Chet Hervey of Northwoods Collective. A.J. and Chet talk with me about the one year anniversary of the Project Upland Podcast, the upcoming ‘Issue Zero’ of the Project Upland Magazine, the future of Project Upland and a whole lot more.
During our conversation we recap our recent trip to Montana in addition to where A.J. and Chet have been since the trip. We share some upland bird hunting stories as well as the usual bird dogs, shotguns and upland birds chatter. We also discuss many things related to Project Upland and Northwoods Collective as a business. We talk about current projects, future films, the upcoming new magazine and what listeners, viewers and readers can expect in future content.

Nick Larson is the host and creator of the Project Upland Podcast. He and his family, which includes a pair of English setters, reside in Duluth, Minnesota. Naturally, his favorite pursuit is upland bird hunting. From the northern forests of the upper great lakes to the prairies of the west, he chases adventure across the uplands wherever his bird dogs and the people he meets inspire him to go.
I was shown one of your first? videos a while back by a member of the RGS and thought it was great. As a Nebraska hunter who’s only chased ruffed grouse once I though it was pretty epic and don’t know why I didn’t follow up. Any way I stumbled across you site recently and have to say you’ve got some great stuff going on here. Keep it up, and I’ll keep reading/watching/listening.
Appreciate that Jason, great to hear! Thanks for listening!
