Puppy talk, grouse hunting and October day dreaming with Kellen Crow.
Michigan native, grouse hunter and expectant puppy owner Kellen Crow joins the show to discuss expectations for summer training and the fall hunting season.
With puppies on the way this summer for both of us, Kellen and I discuss the ups and downs of being an amateur bird dog trainer. We talk about our first bird dogs, what we’ve learned and what we hope to do better with our future bird dogs.
We also talk about Kellen’s upland story, how he found his way into grouse hunting and bird dogs as well as his involvement with Ruffed Grouse Society.
