Wyoming upland hunting and traveling wingshooting with Garhart Stephenson.
God took pity on me and put a covey of chukars where anyone could have spotted them.Garhart Stephenson
Wyoming upland hunting, unconventional bird dogs and vintage shotguns are just a few things that Garhart Stephenson enjoys, however they happen to be some of his very favorite. The Wyoming resident joins me on this episode of the Project Upland Podcast.
From chukar to ruffed grouse, from sage grouse to pheasant, Garhart pursues them all in his home state of Wyoming. Beyond his Wyoming upland hunting, he’s also an avid traveling wingshooter planning trips and hunting upland birds wherever the uplands call to him. He recently returned from a 10-day trip to New Mexico where he slept in his truck and hunted scaled quail.
Garhart has a passion for upland birds and public land no doubt. He often shares his experiences through photography and his writing. He’s been published in Shooting Sportsman as well as other publications.
Tune in to this episode of the Project Upland Podcast to learn more about Garhart’s upland story and western wingshooting.
